Simply stated, we build in your community with your community. Journeyman enjoys a record-setting history of exceeding minority and local participation guidelines. Even when compliance with W/DBE standards is voluntary and not a project requirement, we continue to work towards these goals.
The principals of Journeyman have secured project financing on a tax-exempt and taxable basis, have led the industry in structuring debt through the use of non-profit public facility corporations, and provided sources for both debt and equity. We have repeatedly demonstrated an ability to arrange large, complex capital structures necessary to ensure projects are completed with a guaranteed schedule and price. Additionally, we are known for innovative strategies, having secured the first public-private financing of a hotel project.
Real Estate Investment
Journeyman’s investment team searches for value-add assets that may be in need of renovation, in underperforming markets primed for an upswing or properties in outstanding locations. We work closely with designers and property management groups to improve real estate, operations and the bottom line.
